Sarah Brown is a licensed architect and founder of Sarah Brown Architecture + Design. Born and raised in Canada, a family move in her late teens brought her to the U.S. where she attended WWU after which she earned a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia.

 

Over the course of a fifteen-year career in commercial, residential, and educational design at a local Bellingham firm she accumulated the experience—and the chutzpah—to go out on her own. Sarah is the recipient of multiple Citation and Honor Awards for her work and was honored with the Young Architect Award from the NWAIA.  It was with the NWAIA that she sat on the board and chaired three Design awards events.
